Except they don't call them Transformers – they call them Letrons. 12 engineers from Letvision have built a fully functional prototype, which they call ANTIMON. Letvision plans to create a whole range of robots, which will transform into different models of BMW cars.

EO Smart connected car by DFKI – Bremen:
Created by the DFKI Robotics Innovation Center, the EO Smart Connecting Car 2 adapts to the urban environment like a rat squeezing through the cracks of a condemned building. It can shrink to take up less space and even roll sideways into parking spaces. The pod-like design includes seats for two and four electric motors, one mounted on each wheel hub. This design allowed engineers to give the car some serious cornering ability. Each wheel can rotate 90 degrees. The EO Smart Connecting Car 2 is not intended for production, but it demonstrates possible ways to make cars easier to use in the city.
