10 Childhood Autistic Traits That Make Sense Now
When I was a child, medical professionals said I was stressed, anxious and shy. It wasn't until I turned 31 that I was finally able to put all the pieces together in a way that made sense. I realized with the help of a psychologist that I was autistic.

This video explores 10 of my childhood autistic traits that were overlooked like stress, anxiety, or just shyness.

I am not a doctor or healthcare professional. I am a 33 year old autistic mother and I share my experiences to raise awareness about how autism presents, to connect others like me to resources and support, and to empower autistic people to live a life confident and successful.

Please consult your healthcare professional before making any changes to your healthcare routine.

Please also note that some of these traits do not mean you are autistic. This is part of a much bigger picture. If you would like to learn more about whether or not you are on the spectrum, you may find the following video suggestion helpful, as well as my playlist on the diagnostic process:

I'm Tay, a married mother of 2 who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 31. This was after YEARS of therapy (and all the self-tests in the world!). My diagnosis brought up questions, frustration, doubts, but most importantly, a new level of compassion and self-understanding.

I'm here to share knowledge, resources, and products that empower other neurodivergents (and their loved ones) to live freely and creatively. I am not a doctor, so please talk to your healthcare providers before implementing any recommendations I make on my channel.

Women are underdiagnosed due to lack of research. Please share any videos that are helpful to you so we can increase awareness and acceptance.
