Fast! Name the fastest growing states in the country. Florida, Texas, Colorado, yes yes yes. But would you guess North Carolina? It's true. Due to a temperate climate, relatively low cost of living, and TONS of jobs in many areas, this state is booming, man.
Many people are considering moving here or have already moved here. If you're one of them, places like the Raleigh metro area, Charlotte, and along the coast are great choices. Although jobs near the coast are very limited. But there are many places in this state where you SHOULD NOT move. This is what we are going to talk about today.
It's a great state, but North Carolina has some problems, that's for sure. The Old North State has poverty, crime and drugs, just like everywhere else in this country. Most of the state's troubled areas share similar characteristics: shootings, welfare, ghettos and few opportunities for young families to settle down. These are also not places where you should retire. We're going to look at ten such places. Let's get started.
