4 tips for dealing with false allegations
False allegations come from the standard “playbook” of a cover-up abusive narcissist ex. When you are the target of this type of smear campaign, it can be very devastating and leave you broken and defeated. In this video I discuss 4 key tips to help you deal with allegations and protect yourself in the future.
– Remember that you are not alone and this is an unfortunate tactic that many people, both men and women, have endured.
– Do not allow yourself to be alone with this person. They have already demonstrated their willingness to take any conversation or interaction and use it against you. Fail to provide them with the opportunity and narcissistic supply they seek
– Limit your communications! If you have an attorney, direct *all* communications through them. I know it can be expensive, but if the narcissistic abuser has already demonstrated that he or she is not willing to communicate or negotiate, hire your attorney. If you need to communicate with them, do so via email and text.
– Accept the face you see and deal with the *real person*. This is the individual they have always been, but when you were in a relationship, they kept the mask on to manipulate you. The mask is gone and the monster is now in plain sight – except only with you.
