49 The Three Garridebs from the Sherlock Holmes audiobook (1927)
The Adventure of the Three Garridebs is one of twelve stories published as The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in June 1927. This particular story was first published in Collier's Magazine on October 25, 1924 .
The story takes place "at the end of June 1902", a memorable time for Watson as it was the same month in which Holmes refused a knighthood for his services to the country.
I particularly like this story for the few paragraphs at the end in which the relationship between Holmes and Watson is beautifully described.
