Breeder Mark Furnish is in a bind. His ranch is losing money, the banks have refused to accept him, and his wealthy grandfather back East refuses to finance the business unless Mark has a wife. The mail-order bride who was supposed to be his has now become his foreman's wife. Time is running out and Mark doesn't have a second to lose. As if that wasn't enough, he doesn't even want to get married to begin with.

He enters the lounge to take a few panacea shots and instead discovers a girl from the lounge who looks more like a flaming virgin of the temple. She refuses all of the men's flirtatious efforts and offers to go upstairs for a date. This woman has a higher class and a shrew character.
Maybe he shouldn't have tried to help her. Maybe he wouldn't have been kicked out of the saloon and she wouldn't have been fired. Now she is his responsibility.
