Absolute Western Classic by Randolph Scott I The Nevadan (1950) I Absolute Westerns

On his way to prison, gangster Tom Tanner (Forrest Tucker) escapes the law and is pursued by Andy Barclay (Randolph Scott), a federal marshal who believes Tanner will lead him to a stash of stolen gold. Barclay switches horses at Karen Galt's (Dorothy Malone) ranch, planting the seeds of romance before following Tanner to a mineshaft where hidden loot is hidden. But then a band of outlaws who also want gold arrive, forcing Tanner and Barclay to team up and fend them off together.
