Description: This July 4th, we are documenting a prototype Map guitar that belonged to the man who made it for Gibson – James Hutchins. I purchased the /"Poster Child/" and this /"Prototype/" from his estate through Carter Vintage in 2022. It appears that most of these guitars have been completed as far as electronics and wiring aside from the factory, but that doesn't change. the fact that they were Hutch's guitars! His signature is found in the control cavity.
