/”Attack of the Puppet People/” is a sci-fi horror film from 1958 directed by Bert I. Gordon. The story revolves around a lonely doll maker, Mr. Franz, who invents a machine that can shrink people down to puppet size. He uses this device to keep companionship by shrinking people and keeping them as his living dolls. A group of individuals becomes trapped in this bizarre world after answering an advertisement for a job. As they try to escape and return to their normal size, they must evade becoming permanent residents of Mr. Franz’s miniature world. The film combines elements of science fiction, horror, and suspense as the characters navigate their predicament and attempt to break free from their doll-sized existence.
