(Abridged)
A veil of secrecy covers a private island off the coast of the Dominican Republic, where an American bioengineering company is quietly building a theme park. Even the project's expert consultants don't know exactly what it is. And local doctors are perplexed when an injured park worker arrives at the hospital with gashes across his body, as if he had been mauled by an animal of monstrous proportions. A year later, when the first guests of /"Jurassic Park/" attend a 4-day preview, the astonishment, shock and finally terror they experience offer a horrifying solution to this disturbing enigma.
Captivating scientific details and a suspenseful narrative make this an unforgettable story: a tale of advanced technology versus prehistoric monsters. . . and an extraordinarily good idea that went extraordinarily bad.

The majority of these audiobooks, which have been converted from audio cassettes to digital MP3 files, are over 30 years old. Some cassettes had to be taken apart and put back together, which can be a very delicate procedure. Just a little something I thought I would do to be able to recover these particular works and share them with others before cassettes and cassette players completely deteriorate and before the world of analog recording becomes completely obsolete. Most are not real books because they are abridgements. When I first started collecting these audiobooks, the complete books on cassette were either very rare or extremely expensive. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit.
