The author of I Didn't Do It for You: How the World Betrayed a Small African Nation and In the Footsteps of Mr. Kurtz: Living on the Verge of Disaster in Mobotu's Congo, Wrong brings an eye for detail to 'a journalist with an unprecedented body of work that explores and explains why postcolonial Africa struggles so much in terms of economic, social and political development.

/ "What the Kenyan case has shown – and this is true for many African countries," says Wrong, who refuses to idealize a continent that is passionately close to his heart, "is that you cannot pretend help a country if we don't give it a very clear vision." a critical look at the politics of the moment.
