She's a rookie, he's a veteran. But both Leandra Medine and Simon Doonan are fashion iconoclasts who continually entertain and inform us on all things style. /"Put on necklaces. Don't think twice, just layer," says Leandra. /"When in doubt, make sure you are fully backlit/," advises Simon.
They're completely adorable because neither of them takes the industry too seriously. When WWD's pages are all black, isn't it reassuring to be able to turn to these two for color?
Somehow the stars aligned and Leandra and Simon published books within weeks of each other: Asylum: A Collage of Couture Reminiscences… And Hysteria by Mr. Doonan and Man Repeller: Seeking Love and Finding Overalls by Ms. Medine.
