Battle of Shiloh (1862) – Civil War DOCUMENTARY

This animated historical documentary covers the Battle of Shiloh which took place in 1862 as part of the American Civil War between the United States of America and the Confederate States of America. Shiloh was the largest battle of the first phase of the war between the North and the South and largely decided the fate of the western theater of the conflict. The Union forces were commanded by Ulysses S. Grant and Don Carlos Buell, while the Confederacy troops were led by Albert Sidney Johnston and Pierre-Gustave Toutant de Beauregard. The camps suffered nearly 25,000 casualties.
