I unbox the 4Patriots 3 month survival food kit that I purchased for 699.95. Was I scammed or did I receive good value for money? Is it better to purchase these kits, or should I create my own food supply by canning and purchasing a vacuum sealing machine, mylar bags and oxygen absorbers to create my food storage of survival? Nearly 50% of the kit is rice or rice dishes, along with plenty of oatmeal. These items tend to be very inexpensive, but I think I paid too much and need to consider self-preparing my meals and investing in a vacuum sealer, with mylar bags and oxygen absorbers.
