/"/"Light/" is a pioneering and provocative film about the controversial claims of "respirators."/" Recommended to anyone interested in the outer reaches of human potential, this film will inspire some, perplex others and will exasperate others – but you won't be bored./"

SYNOPSIS:
Is it possible that human beings can survive without food or liquid for many years and live on light alone? Are we faced with charlatanism or forgotten knowledge?
IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS LIGHT follows a phenomenon that few people in our Western world are aware of, as the subject has either been ignored or ridiculed by the media. The image shows humans who are believed to be able to survive without food or liquid for weeks, years, or even decades.
Most people would spontaneously say that this is simply not possible. It's impossible! But based on certified reports of personal experiences, interviews and scientifically documented laboratory experiments, the picture follows the phenomenon of /"living from light/" or "respirarianism/". Incredible as it may seem, there appears to be evidence that there are people alive today, and some people existing thousands of years ago, who do not need food either to live or to maintain their metabolism. They live alone from /"light/". According to tradition it is called PRANA, CHI or ORGON…
As modern people, we experience this phenomenon as an incredible attack on our Western, scientifically oriented view of the world.
Therefore, this picture begins with a fascinating and intriguing journey around the world and not only includes the latest explanatory models taken from quantum physics, but also touches on insights from the Eastern spiritual tradition.
The film is not intended to advocate stopping eating, but it does provide food for thought and aspires to challenge the mechanistic-materialist philosophy that dominates our society today, to open up other perspectives and to improve new ways of thinking and living. Or does the saying “what cannot be, will not be” still prevail?
