What reasons should we have to trust the Bible? Today's culture often questions the reliability of gospel accounts and other accounts of the establishment of God's kingdom in the New Testament. It is common to hear that there are over 400,000 differences in all the New Testament manuscripts we have. If we can't even know for sure what the original New Testament documents say, how can we trust the factual claims it makes about the lives of Jesus and his apostles? When presented honestly, the facts actually paint a much more generous and accurate portrait of the textual transmission of the New Testament. It's important to know what the implications really are and how it makes a difference.
