Best Jenny Day Ever 1376
It's May and it's snowing in Utah! and not only that, it's snowing on Jenny's birthday!! We're at the airport, we just got back from a little adventure in California as a birthday present for Jenny, and now I got her a cookie and her favorite drink and I'm going to surprise her. She loves the surprise, doesn't like me singing happy birthday at the airport lol!!
We get home and when we open the front door, Adley, Niko and Navey jump out and surprise us! oh man, we missed them so much!! They decorated and made homemade cards and crafts for Jenny's birthday. Adley even painted a rock to give her as a gift. They also made breakfast for us so we could do our morning routine as a family!
We are making delicious crepes when Navey asks if she can hear stories about our trip!! So the kids gather around while we talk about how we went to see a comedy show. It was really cool and hilarious. The actors were Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Nate Bargatze and Sebastian Maniscalco! Incredible programming! I figured while we were in LA, we might as well surprise Jenny even more with a trip to Disneyland and Universal Studios!!
It was May 4th when we were at Disney, so there were tons of Star Wars fans and activities. Jenny was cold, so she bought a giant Jedi robe and wore it everywhere. At one point it became a new game where she would hide in the crowd and I had to find her in her dresses. She also got a hug from Chewie and had an altercation with some Stormtroopers!! One of the coolest parts for me was at Universal when we went to Super Mario World!! I'm a huge Mario fan and have played every game on Nintendo, so it was really special to be immersed in the world of Mario.
The ride was amazing, basically Mario Cart in real life (much better than when we did it on the drift cars hahaha) and just looking around to see all the familiar characters and sights was so amusing. Of course, I brought out my inner child!! And being at home telling these stories to the kids made it fun and we could see the excitement building in their eyes because one day we would take them there. With how much fun our adventure was, what Jenny wanted most was for us to be home with Adley, Niko Bear and Navey!!
After the birthday breakfast and stories we all settle down, take baths and change into comfy clothes to just relax and have the best mommy day ever!! Niko and Navey want to build a fort for Jenny's birthday, so we go down to the basement of the new house and collect all the nuggets we can find and start building the best fort ever!! We even received a new round nugget that Niko loves to roll around in haha! Once the fort is finished, Niko and Adley help me get Jenny so we can show her the surprise!!
We took a mini tour of the nugget base, then we all settled in for some family cuddles and watched Spacestation Gaming play Apex, then our new Cereal Baby reimagined by Spacestation Animation!!
