Bold Reasoning with Peter Singer – my new Substack!

I'm excited to welcome you to my new Substack, Bold Reasoning. After 25 years as a professor of bioethics at Princeton University, I am looking to reach a different audience. At Princeton, my classes ranged from questions about the objectivity of ethics to more applied topics such as global poverty, effective altruism, our treatment of animals, environmental ethics, abortion, medical aid to die, freedom of expression and the ethical questions raised by AI. I will continue to think and write about these questions, and Substack will be one of them. This platform offers us a unique opportunity to connect directly and participate in critical discussions. Each week I will share ideas and invite dialogue on a range of ethical issues. Beyond just discussion, this initiative will support some of the causes I consider most important, especially those where you can make an impact.
