Britain's Mental Health Crisis (Documentary)

Panorama is set in one of the UK's largest frontline mental health trusts. With budget cuts drastically reducing the number of beds, we follow teams as they make daily decisions about who to let in and who to send home. We film nurses as they care for suicidal, aggressive and isolated people in the community and learn how the system is so overloaded and other support services so decimated that staff feel they have often struggles to meet all of his patients' needs.
