Build a NEW Crane Jib End! Franna Crane Project, Part 16

The NEW rebuild of Crane Boom begins! We don't just fix things here; we build a completely new boom end and drop block from scratch. The process begins with laser-cut steel plates that we align before using our milling machine to create perfectly drilled holes for the pins. We then head to the lathe, where the magic of turning, drilling and tapping turns a chrome bar into our pins. And to ensure a perfect fit, we will also machine a few spacer tubes on the lathe. The heat is on (literally) as we head to the welding area to heat and bend the flat bar into the curbs and stops of the scrap block. Finally, once all the parts are made, it's time to assemble and assemble the boom end and drop block. Watch as precision meets brute force to bring to life a brand new boom for our Franna crane.
