It's a warm summer evening and a storm is approaching in the distance, beyond the forest. The wind has already arrived, kicking up gusts of warm movement through the leaves. The atmosphere is gentle, there is a lull and heaviness in the air and the deep, distant rumbling is both calming and powerful.

Due to popular demand, I have created an alternate version of my original "Calm Before The Storm" video, in a completely new and original way, but accommodating some requested changes. This version doesn't have the recurring /"click/" sound that bothered some people (which was tree branches cracking), and it is also of a longer duration, for those who want to use it for fall asleep.
This version features a completely new perspective of the scene, which shows a lot more of those beautiful stormy skies and a little more movement in the trees and grass.
This project involved reworking everything in e-on VUE, then Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects, editing the new audio, editing the new video, encoding the new video and uploading it here to YouTube.

All my videos are completely original and made from scratch. Their production takes weeks and takes place in different stages.
I create my 3D scenes in VUE – sculpting terrain, researching materials, modeling objects and placing them in the scene, adjusting lighting, angles and other effects.
Once the scene is rendered, I can use composition techniques and other adjustments in Adobe Photoshop to add new features. Then I import it into Adobe After Effects, where I bring the scene to life with various animations and effects.
Next, I create a soundscape specifically for the atmosphere by combining multiple sounds together using a sound mixer, which involves applying various settings and adjustments.
Finally, everything is put together with video editing software and uploaded here for you to enjoy!
