The Center for Educational Excellence (CEE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, was founded in 1983 by the late Admiral HG Rickover and Joann P. DiGennaro, President of the Center. The Center's mission is to train college and high school students for careers of excellence and leadership in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and to encourage collaboration between and among the scientific and technological leaders of the global community. CEE sponsors the Research Science Institute (RSI), the USA Biolympiad (USABO), the Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP), and the STEM Lyceums. CEE programs are offered free of charge to participating students and teachers, leveling the playing field for economically disadvantaged students. The Center's nonprofit mission is supported by corporations, foundations, individuals and government agencies. For more information, visit https://www.cee.org
