Charlotte Brontë Period Drama Full Movie Jane Eyre (1970) Retrospective

Jane Eyre (Susannah York) is an orphan hired as a governess at Thornfield, an English manor run by the strict Edward Rochester (George C. Scott). Sinister things begin to happen around the mansion, but Jane and the temperamental Rochester come to cherish their time together. They fall in love and decide to get married. But Rochester has not yet informed his future wife about a certain matter. And when her secret comes out, Jane faces a huge challenge.
