Summary:
Brimley Manor, home to an eccentric museum chronicling its owner's exotic travels, also harbors dark secrets. When a suspicious fire breaks out, the biggest question must be: Was it just an accident? Sarah and Jack don't think so. As they begin to explore the history and people of Brimley Manor, they soon learn that this very curious place could also be quite deadly… Set in the peaceful English village of Cherringham, the detective series brings together a duo of detectives improbable: the English Web. the creator Sarah and the ex-American cop Jack. Exciting and deadly – but with a little tea – it's like Rosamunde Pilcher meets Inspector Barnaby. Each of the standalone episodes is a quick read for the morning commute, while waiting for the doctor, or curling up with a hot cup of tea. Co-writers Neil Richards (UK-based) and Matthew Costello (US-based) have been writing together since the mid-90s, creating content and working on projects for the BBC, Disney Channel, Sony, ABC , Eidos and Nintendo to name a few.
