The launch festival gave a taste of what Rotherham’s 2025 Children’s Cultural Capital could look like, showcasing it as a cultural destination and hotbed of creative talent.
The Children's Cultural Capital project is led by Rotherham Council and delivered in partnership with children and young people, businesses, voluntary sector organizations and cultural institutions across the borough.
Wentworth Woodhouse is proud to be one of the creative partners in this programme. We offer training in digital skills applied to filmmaking to 10 young creative producer trainees. The program runs until the end of June 2022.
This video was recorded during their second week with us and is an introduction to the team we have created. Future videos will showcase their creativity and personal thoughts on training, as well as their experience as a member of the Wentworth Woodhouse family.
We have created a separate playlist on this channel called “Trainee Creative Producers – Sonder Productions”. You will find all their videos there.
Sonder Productions is the name the team chose to identify themselves as a creative unit. The word “Probe” alludes to the complexity of the lives of the people we meet and encourages listening, understanding and empathy. So many excellent qualities that Creative Producers can demonstrate.
