Day 34 of the Karen Read trial Jury begins fourth day of deliberations

The jury in the Karen Read case deliberated all day Thursday without reaching a verdict, marking the third day without a decision in the case. They return to Norfolk Superior Court on Friday to continue considering whether to convict Read of second-degree murder, manslaughter while operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/ or that he was leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
