Summary:
Sophie and Hector leave for the Highlands. For Sophie, it's a return home and for Hector, it's time to meet Sophie's parents… Although their trip has talk of a stop at Scotland's famous elopement spot, Gretna Green. Either way, it will be a nice break from the murder and mayhem ravaging their beautiful Cotswold village. But Sophie and Hector have barely crossed the border on their way to Inverness when a sinister encounter leaves them shaken. Then comes a series of mishaps that leave poor Hector a little more tired. Does anyone have a grudge against Hector? Why is it certain that the attacks are just accidents? Sophie is determined to find out. Starting and ending at Hector's House bookstore in Wendlebury Barrow, this adventure is Debbie Young's celebration of Scotland as her second favorite place after the Cotswolds, and will make you feel like you've taken a trip to the the Highlands!
