Dinosaurs of the Triassic Period: A Summary of the Early Dinosaurs and Their Rise to Dominance
The Triassic was the first period of the Mesozoic era, the age of reptiles. Unlike the following periods of the Jurassic and Cretaceous, dinosaurs were not yet the dominant animals during the Triassic period. The purpose of this video is to provide a detailed summary of these early dinosaurs, which were quite different from most people's view of dinosaurs.

It covers both the most famous dinosaurs from this era, like Coelophysis and Plateosaurus, and much more obscure dinosaurs like Daemonosaurus and Saturnalia. It also gives an overview of their spread across Pangea, their early evolutions and of course their rise to dominance.

Thanks to themattalorian for narrating this video and to Bethany Lester (@bethssketches) for creating the illustration depicting Triassic dinosaurs in a snowy environment.
