Distinguished Author Series: Destiny and Power by Jon Meacham

College Station, Texas – November 9, 2015. At 6:00 p.m., the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation will host a book launch and signing for Jon Meacham's latest biography, "Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush." . . Meacham will discuss the former president and offer insight into information he gleaned from George HW Bush's personal journal. As a man very aware of his vast influence, President Bush was very cautious about his personal emotions, thoughts, and fears in public, but he recorded these and much more in his diary. Meacham's biography and this event therefore offer a very personal and in-depth view of the president, making it an event not to be missed. The event will take place at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center in the Bush Center complex on the campus of Texas A&M University.
