Eddie Goes to Poetry City by Richard Foreman
Eddie Goes to Poetry City by Richard Foreman
Eddie dreams of escaping cruel colleagues, a doctor who isn't a doctor, maybe even the room itself! He dreams of escaping to Poetry City. Upon his arrival, he realizes that it is in reality his suffering and his dismay that provide him with the keys to a new world, vibrant with infinite possibilities.

Foreman's pieces, especially under the direction of Catastrophic lead artist Greg Dean, are imagination machines. They provoke laughter, even tears, so deep you didn't know they were there. They prick and tug on the nerves and plunge you, first of all, into daydreams.
