Education activist Muzoon urges world leaders to educate refugees
Refugee children are five times more likely to be out of school than other children, and only 61 percent of refugee children are enrolled in primary school. This figure drops to 23 percent when it comes to secondary school. World leaders have pledged to guarantee children's right to education – a cornerstone of the Sustainable Development Goals and the New York Declaration.

Muzoon Almellehan, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, speaks about her personal experience as a Syrian refugee and her commitment as a youth advocate to make education a reality for all refugee children.
