Ian Fritz is a former USAF airborne cryptological linguist who was a member of the AC-130 W crew. Ian's over 3 years of language training allowed him to listen to enemy radio transmissions and Update AC-130 crew and ground forces in real time. -time. Ian attended the Defense Language Institute (DLI) to become fluent in Dari and Pashtun before supporting Air Force Special Operations Command on two deployments to Afghanistan.
