Gaza in geography With: Nour Joudah, Jehad Abu Salim; Moderated by: Bassam Haddad
This teaching will contextualize the geography of Gaza, historically as the largest district of Palestine to today as a besieged strip. Having much less geographic familiarity than the West Bank with the general public, we will also analyze the significance of the current evacuation line in Wadi Gaza, what current displacements will mean for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in the future, and how the terrain of the ongoing invasion is evolving.
