Get to Know New York Times Bestseller Ellery Adams
Jessica and James invited author Ellery Adams to the channel to launch THE LAST WORD, a new series in which we'll discuss all things publishing while giving the perspectives of both an author and a 'an agent over things. Before we dive straight into our topics, meet Ellery in /"The Road to Ellery Adams/"

(We used Zoom to film this video, so please excuse the lower graphics quality!)

New York Times bestselling author Ellery Adams has written more than thirty novels and can't imagine spending a day away from the keyboard. Ms. Adams, a New York native, has had a lifelong love affair with stories, food, rescued animals and large bodies of water. When she's not working on her next novel, she's cooking, gardening, spoiling her three cats, and wasting way too much time on Pinterest. She lives with her husband and two children (aka the Trolls) in central North Carolina.

Jessica Faust's love of books is what led her to open literary agency BookEnds. It was her desire to champion all authors that led her to create her blog, the BookEnds YouTube channel, and maintain a vibrant presence on Twitter.
Jessica is proud to have grown BookEnds into an agency that represents children's and adult authors of all genres, allowing her to reach more readers and help more authors and illustrators realize their dreams.

Since interning at BookEnds as an undergraduate in the summer of 2015, James has (basically) never left. It's just constantly being improved inside BookEnds. He is now the team's literary assistant and social media manager. He has been a reader since his mother gave him the first book A Series of Unfortunate Events and has regularly ordered the sequels through Scholastic Book Orders.
James is currently expanding his own list and is actively seeking submissions in areas of adult literature and high-end fiction, mystery, thrillers and suspense. He also accepts submissions in all subgenres of young adult fiction and actively seeks out picture books that make him laugh.
