Historical Cold Cream recipe “Snow cream” with rose and vanilla

This week I'm trying another historic cold cream recipe. Well, technically I'm mixing two recipes: one from the 1920s and another from the Edwardian period. It's a rich, silky cream with a sweet rose scent. Perfect for chapped hands in winter or as a rich body lotion (it can also be used on the face if you like a stronger moisturizer or just use a small dab). I hope my mom likes her Christmas present!
