We have almost crossed the Phanerozoic eon! After the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras, we arrive at the Cenozoic era, the one in which we still live today. This is the age of mammals, which came to dominate the Earth, and here we also see the continents beginning to move closer to their current locations. We are also starting to see some glacial activity. Let's take a closer look!
