Incredible super slow motion footage lets you get up close to the hornets and their incredible behavior.

Nature photographer Lothar Lenz was able to capture complex videos of hornets, feeding, fighting and flying in his garden in the Eifel, Germany.

The macro images focus on the comings and goings over a small puddle, the hornets come and go with fascinating detail captured.

Hornets take flight and, in doing so, show flapping wings and even hair on their legs.
