Kings and Generals' historical animated documentary series covering the Pacific War week by week continues with a special video in the series. At the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States had a total of 7 aircraft carriers, 3 of which were in the Pacific theater. Admiral Yamamoto had hoped to destroy the American aircraft carriers at Pearl Harbor, but none were found. While Yamamoto lamented that he had not destroyed any American aircraft carriers, the United States began to mobilize its aircraft carriers into operational forces ready to strike back against the Japanese. This episode will focus on the first American naval air raids in the Pacific.
