I let my application to Oxford define my worth. Why do I think I was rejected?
I left this pretty late, I know, but I wanted to share this with you because it's so important that we normalize these feelings. It's okay to not be okay and, after being rejected from Oxford, I really struggled with my mental health. Remember though, rejection doesn't define you. When you're rejected, it's not YOU who's being rejected, but rather your applications. We should focus on how we deal with rejection and how we grow as a result.
