I Like Trouble 1948 Franchot Tone Full Movie
A rich man hires a detective to investigate his wife's past. The detective (Franchot Tone) discovers that the woman was a dancer and left her hometown with an actor. The latter is killed before he can speak, but, with the help of a showgirl, the detective learns that the wife had used papers stolen from a friend to get into university after stealing $40,000 from the box night shift where she worked. The detective eventually learns that the husband killed his wife when he discovered her past in order to avoid a scandal, and that he hired the detective to try to frame her for the murder.
