I Regret My Abortion – Serena's Story Can't Be Silent

Serena was 15 when she discovered she was pregnant. She wanted to embrace the life of her child, but her parents forced her to have an abortion, pressuring her and threatening her.

After the abortion, she suffered from self-confidence issues, anxiety, depression, loss of appetite and suicidal thoughts. She abused alcohol to numb her pain and kept busy to avoid thinking about her abortion.

It was more than 10 years later that she realized she was in great need of healing. /"Abortion didn't help me. Abortion hurt me/," she says. #I can't stay silent
