When the murder of a professor reveals links to past cases, suspicions of a serial killer arise, plunging the country into turmoil. As Major Crimes investigates further, the killer taunts them by publicly posting a teaser online, pointing to the next victim and escalating the chaos.
To deal with the growing threat, the team enlists the help of idealistic rookie officer Park Sun-woo (JUNG Hae-in), leading to unexpected twists and turns in the case's trajectory.
