Engaged Keith Richoux and Ashley Kirkpatrick are different in many ways: he is 57 and a widower, she is 27 and the mother of a four-year-old. Ashley is African American, Keith is white, with a touch of Santa Claus in him. Ashley describes herself as more liberal than “conservative” Keith. And yet the pair say it's because they're polar opposites that their relationship works – and explains why after just four months, the couple got engaged.
