In anticipation of the Allied invasion of the European continent, the German army built a series of fortifications along the coasts, known as the Atlantic Wall. In this episode we explore a GIANT bunker that the Germans built in the Sword Beach area that has been turned into a museum that shows a little bit of what life would have been like for the average German soldier.
