This anime is surprisingly sad because a very strong man gets his leg cut off and has to give up his dream of helping the world. Then he finds a little girl in the forest. This girl leaves her father at a very young age to become a strong warrior. Once she becomes a very strong person, she is so busy that she can no longer see her father.

Anime

English
My daughter left the nest and returned as an S-rank adventurer

Japanese

冒険者になりたいと都に出て行った娘がSランクになってた

Summary:
After losing his leg as a rookie adventurer, he retired and returned to his hometown in the countryside. Doing things like collecting medicinal herbs, exterminating magical beasts and wild beasts, and helping with villagers' farm work, it's difficult to decide whether to call our protagonist an adventurer or a tinkerer. And by doing these things, his age was quickly approaching thirty. One day, while searching for herbs in the mountains, he discovered an abandoned child. Thinking he could not leave the child, he took her home and raised her until he reached the age of forty.

His daughter, now an adult, had also wanted to become an adventurer, probably growing up watching her father. Although her father had taught her how to wield a sword since she was young for self-defense, her skill was quite impressive. Thinking it would be best for her not to be stuck in the countryside for the rest of her life, our protagonist sent her to the adventurers' guild in the capital.

After five more years, the protagonist, now in his forties, still acts as a pseudo-adventurer in the countryside, however, his daughter, now a distinguished S-Class adventurer, is not yet returned home…
