Robin's theory is that it depends on how you feel about the makeshift family you've created for these weeks./" says altar boy-turned-master-baker Cary Dunkler, part of the Vamp Until protagonist network Ready. Cary, Isa Vass, Kristy Schroyer, Judy Gabelson and Mark Shinner have lives that are transformed in surprising ways while working on or behind the scenes at The Hangar Theater, a summer outfit located in upstate New York in the 1980s. They start – and rebuild – their families in this closely observed, ultimately comical Valentine's Day, to the socialist-leaning hamlet of Ithaca and the pleasures of putting on a show at breakneck speed in hot weather.
