In the 1920s and 1930s, a group of five women, including Amelia Earhart, fought to compete with men in the era's daring national air races. And yes, they won. Their stories are told in the new book, "Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied Odds and Made Aviation History." The book's author, Keith O'Brien, a former Boston Globe reporter, joined Jim Braude to discuss it.
