Lifting heavy logs onto my off-grid log cabin, building walls, kitchen EP13
Hello my dear friends
In this episode I started lifting heavy logs using a system I saw on Erik Grankvist's channel. Erik is a great source of inspiration for me.
I've created two more log lines since the last episode, so a total of 8 log lines are completed and I still have 4-5 log lines left to go. In the little house, I turned down the bed because it was too hot upstairs. In the next episode I will build the porch on the small dock and continue on to the walls of the main cabin.
Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I really appreciate. I would also really appreciate it if you could support my channel by subscribing!

More about me:
When I was 20, I dropped out of school and told myself that I would do what I really want and what I see in it. So I decided to build the log cabin of my dreams, all by myself, in the middle of some off-grid bushland.
After leaving school, I went to work for a while to earn money to buy trees and hand tools. I spent all the money I earned and my savings there. Thank God I already owned the land that I have – I received it from my dear parents as a gift and also bought another part of the land with my own money.

I chose a log cabin for my house because I like it. I am building it with the vision of living a simple and peaceful life there. Having time is more important to me than having money. Of course, nowadays a person cannot live without money, but I would like to live in such a way that my expenses are not so high and thus reduce the need for money. I want to have time not only for myself, but also for my future wife and children. This is why I will try to build the most self-sufficient life possible, in which my own home, in my case a log cabin, will be the heart of this system.

I use hand tools because they are my favorite. There is beauty in simplicity.
Working with hand tools has several advantages: you can work off-grid, all of the tools you need can fit in one bag, there is better safety when working alone, you don't make too much noise when you work. . so I appreciate it more and I think you will too, watching 🙂
Sometimes you'll still see me using power tools for certain things where I can't avoid it completely, like drilling into metal roofing or welding, but otherwise I'll still try to use mostly hand tools.
My dear father is a carpenter. I remember that most of the things he taught me in woodworking were precisely in working with hand tools, which required the most attention and practice on my part.
My dad taught me how to woodwork from a young age, but I have no experience building a log cabin, so I'm learning everything as I go and can't wait to see what this experience will teach me.

It may not seem like it, but it was a big struggle to get this opportunity to be able to work on my dream, but I finally did it and for that I am incredibly grateful. I also started this YouTube channel where I share my entire journey, so if you're interested you can check it out. There's no one behind the camera, so I do all the filming and editing myself. I would also be very grateful if you could support my journey by subscribing or sharing, if you wish.
Thanks for being here, I really appreciate it and I'm glad you're watching. I will try to make videos as best as I can, so that you get the most out of them.
Thank you all for your attention. Appreciate!
