“Look” by Solmaz Sharif

While I'm on hiatus, I thought I'd share one of my favorite pieces of writing with you all. it's a poem from one of my favorite collections of all time – /"look/" by Solmaz Sharif (look at her, she's super cool). I highly recommend that each of you read it, especially in today's climate. it is difficult to remain soft in the face of everything that happens, but it is necessary to do so, so that you can feel everything and let those feelings guide the actions that will bring change. please don't let anyone undermine your power and influence. please don't let man-made boundaries and distinctions lull you into silence/inaction. Remember that you are so important in this world and you have value just by existing.
