March 2021 Reading List – Blades, Books and Bullets
The March 2021 installment of my monthly reading list series is live on my blog. https://www.officialjackcarr.com/march-2021-book-club/

I read all but one of the selections on this month's reading list in the 1980s. If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that the '80s were a formative decade for me. Without the digital distractions we compete with today, I was able to spend much of my time immersed in the pages of books; after all, you can't play as much as the Atari 2600. March 2021 features selections from the "master of the action thriller," the "winner of the lariat," a sixteen-year-old prodigy, an ancient Greek poet, a Commendation of the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps and autobiography of the first man to break the sound barrier. Be sure to check out my book specific Instagram page @JackCarrBookClub for those interested in a book club type experience in one place where you can explore all of my reading list selections in one place. If you're discovering these lists for the first time and want to check out previous selections, they're all posted in the blog section of my website. For newcomers to the team, each month, I highlight six books; some are from the professional reading list I was asked to compile for the Naval Special Warfare Center before retiring from the SEAL Teams and others are books I have enjoyed at different stages of my life and which are not directly associated with my time in the military. Interested in the “how” and “why” behind the books that influenced me? Check out the blog. You might find one that resonates. Good reading!
